We have dogs ourselves and they enjoy the Norfolk coast and countryside. We have favourite dog friendly holiday walks and we still take our dogs onto many of the Norfolk beaches all year round, with only certain areas around popular resorts having restrictions (usually May to the end of September). There are miles of secluded all year round dog friendly beaches making a perfect holiday treat for your dogs. Have a look at North Norfolk District Council and Visit North Norfolk for more details.

There are a vast number of events and shows throughout the year including the Cromer Carnival in August and the one and only Seaside Special shows on Cromer Pier. The theatre also presents a high-quality mix of comedy, music, dance, opera, musicals and community shows. The pier is open to the public all year around and this includes many of its amenities such as the bar and the box office. The cafe and bar at the end of pier is dog friendly and is great when you need to have a relaxing drink on holiday overlooking the sea and beaches. North Norfolk is host to many events across the calendar year, including several town carnivals and festivals on the railway lines such as the 1940's weekends. Over the years this 1940's weekend has attracted more and more visitors and is widely felt to be one of the best events of its type in the country.
